OnHeadphones.com marks the RHA MA350 a strong buy because of the balance in price and quality.  The 3 year warranty gives you piece of mind and the comfort of the RHA MA350 headphones is great.  It's my new running headphones when I do not need an in0line mic.

Award Winning Sound and Speech Clarity

First Thoughts

I'm a big fan of mess lining headphones.  Not only are the headphones easy to store and more durable it reduces the weight of the headphones.  This is a big deal for someone who moves around a lot while listening the earphones.  Rubber sealed cables tend to naturally want to bounce out of the ears.  It seems you have to jam the earphones into your ears so they don't and then you end up having to deal with discomfort.  NOT WITH THE RHA MA350 earphones.  They feel great in the ears.  I don't have to jam them in and they stay in place.  Even when running.

What You Get

  • RHA MA350 Headphones
  • S/M/L size tip.  3 in all
  • Soft Carry case
  • Clip for the earphones.  Nice when running.

This is the first time I have had a chance to review RHA earphones.  The RHA MA350 is their lower end model and cheapest model earphones currently available.  If their is one thing I have learned when reviewing headphones is that if the lower end models are good, the higher end models tend to be awesome.  For the price of 39.99 USD you are getting a set of earphones that works well and very comfortable to wear.  Longest listening time for me to date is 4.5 hours on an audio book.  Clear sound the whole time and no ear pain after the long usage.

The earphones do claim to be noise isolation design but I would rate the noise isolation the same as most earphones that don't claim it.  The real noise isolation simply comes from the well fitting soft earphone tips.  When you are listening you are still going to hear background noises.  You won't be able to carry on an average conversation however unless the other person is speaking loud so they do reduce noise.

I ran on both a trail and a treadmill and did not have to adjust the earphones once.  I did take advantage of the clip that came along with the headphones to help secure the earphones wire to my shirt.

The ear buds themselves are very nice.  Soft and have a good feeling in the ears.  Un-like many earphones in this price range the eartips will not pop out easily.  I've had plenty of earphones I no longer use because the eartips popped off who knows where and ordering new ones just seems like a waste.  They can be hard to snap on at first but that is a good thing.  Once in place they should stay in place.

The mesh fabric cable is very nice.  you don't have to worry about harder wires getting oddly shaped because you put them in your pocket or have to deal wit the rubber ones that are heavy and constantly pop out.

How does the RHA MA350 Compare to Other Leading Brands?

With other earphones in this price range I can highly recommend these to anyone.  The 3 year warranty seals the deal for me.

Overall Design

The design on these is simple.  I like simple.  I'm not hear to attempt to make some fashion statement.  These are a simple design and discreet.

Warranty

There is a 3 year warranty.
